Named after the 13th Canadian Prime Minister, Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport (YXE) is one of the main airports in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. This airport is located about 6 km northwest of downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan's capital. Back in 2023, YXE welcomed over 1.27 passengers, marking a significant increase in traffic. The airport offers direct routes to several Canadian cities as well as other international destinations, such as Las Vegas and Minneapolis in the USA and Cancún and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.

YXE consists of a single terminal extending over two floors:

• First Floor: The first floor is home to the baggage claim area, with three domestic and two international carousels. Passengers will find these facilities to their left, together with several car rental agencies. On the right side, travelers will have access to 34 check-in and ticketing desks. This floor also houses security checkpoints and other facilities, such as an information desk.
• Second Floor: The second floor is used for the gates, nine in total. Here, passengers will also find a Maple Leaf Lounge by Air Canada, a pet relief area, and some stores and eateries.

Unfortunately, there are no sleeping pods or cabins inside the airport. However, there are some hotels located within two km of the terminal. Some accommodations also provide a shuttle to YXE.
