Located in the center of Europe, Germany serves as a great option both when it comes to connecting flights in Europe and when it comes to linking the continent to other parts of the world. The largest airport in the country is Frankfurt Airport, which is actually one of the top ten busiest airports in the world. In total Frankfurt Airport offers almost 400 direct connections to airports globally and is also the main hub for German operator Lufthansa.

Besides Frankfurt Airport, there are several other large international airports in Germany. The second busiest in the country is Munich Airport, which is also well connected to the rest of the world. Number three on the list is found in the German capital of Berlin and is called Berlin Brandenburg Airport. White being an international airport, Berlin Brandenburg mainly has its focus on connections within the European borders.
