Stuttgart Airport (STR) is an international airport serving Stuttgart. It is the sixth-busiest airport in Germany and is located approximately 13km (8.1mi) south of Stuttgart.
The airport consists of four passenger terminals. Each have separate check-in facilities and entrances, but all are directly connected to each other via a single airside area.
Terminal 1: Western-most terminal. Features 50 check-in counters. Mainly used by Eurowings and Turkish Airlines. Shares a roof with Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.
Terminal 2: Smaller area featuring nine check-in counters. Located within the shopping area between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Used by Lufthansa and Star Alliance.
Terminal 3: The second of the two terminals located east of Terminal 1 in the main halls. Features 39 check-in counters. Used by TUIfly and KLM among other airlines.
Terminal 4: Consists of a separate, stand-alone building, located to the east of the other three terminals. Connected to the main building by a walkway. Features 17 check-in counters.

There are many places to dine while at the airport, with many options available within the main building that houses Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Options for dining include café, takeaway, bakeries, fresh foods, food trucks, fast food, and sit-down restaurant areas.
Shops at the airport include convenience, fashion, press, newspapers, jewelry and accessories, electronics, apparel, duty free options and more. Most shops can be located in the main terminal building that houses Terminal 1, 2, and 3.
There are airport lounges available for passengers in Terminal 3. Services include free Wi-Fi, premium food menus and a view of the airside runway.

Train: City trains operate directly from the airport terminal to Stuttgart’s main railway station. Transit time takes approximately 30 minutes.
Tram: The U6 takes passengers from the airport to Stuttgart’s main station in approximately 30 minutes. Services run approximately every 10 minutes. Tram station is located directly opposite the airport terminal.
Bus: Stuttgart Airport Bus Terminal (SAB) is located directly between Terminal 4 and Flughafenstrasse, on ground level beneath the P14 parking garage. It offers connections to many regional long-distance networks.
Taxi: Taxis are available outside Terminal 1 on the Arrivals level.
Car rentals: Rental agencies can be found in the Arrivals area (level 2) of Terminal 3.
Parking: Several parking options are available at the airport. These include outdoor parking, multi-storey garages that feature video surveillance, and direct access to departure lounges. EV charging stations are also available.
