Düsseldorf Airport is a major international airport and the third largest one in Germany. Here you find a map of the airport and its terminals.
Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) is an international airport serving Düsseldorf and the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region, the largest metropolitan region in Germany. It is the fourth-busiest airport in Germany and serves as a hub for Eurowings. It is situated in a compact area and is known to be an airport of short distances.
The airport has three terminals which are connected under a single roof. Although they are officially referred to as terminals, they more closely resemble three concourses within a single terminal building.
The location of all three terminals and the gates can be found using our map at the top of this page.
Terminal A is where Gates A are located. It is used by Lufthansa and Eurowings, its airline partners and Star Alliance members. The terminal has two Lufthansa lounges.
Terminal B is where Gates B are located. It is used by SkyTeam and Oneworld members, in addition to some flights by Star Alliance members, for domestic and EU flights.
Terminal C is where Gates C are located. These are used exclusively for non-Schengen flights by non-Star Alliance airlines (with the exception of Turkish Airlines) for long-haul flights. The terminal has direct access to Airport City’s Martim Hotel and lounges operated by the airport and Emirates.
The airport offers a variety of shops and dining options for travelers that are conveniently located on both sides of security. It also has a Duty Free shop hosting a range of exclusive products from international luxury brands to regional specialties.
The airport has five lounges in total located across all three terminals. These include family friendly options, dedicated workspace spaces, and VIP-services.
Train – The S-Bahn station, Düsseldorf Airport Terminal station, is located below the airport. It is served by the S11 suburban line, which has its northern terminus at the airport
Rail – The main station, Düsseldorf Airport station, is located 2.5km (1.6mi) from the airport. The station is served by all categories of railway, including Intercity Express (ICE) high-speed trains and a monorail called SkyTrain which connects the station to airport parking areas, the passenger terminals, and also serves an inter-terminal mode of transport.
Bus – Several bus lines connect the airport to nearby areas and Düsseldorf city center.
Taxi – Airport Taxis are available at the designated taxi ranks on the Arrivals and Departures level. They are identified by the “Airport Taxi” sticker.
Car rentals – Several car rental agencies are available for your convenience. The car rental parking garage is located across from the pick-up and drop-off area nearest to Terminal A.
Parking – There is parking available for short and long-term stays, including indoor and outdoor options.
Airport City is located to the southwest of the airport terminal and is home to the corporate offices of Siemens and VDI, includes a large Porsche centre and showroom, and access to a Maritim Hotel and Sheraton Hotel.
