Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) is a public airport located three miles east of Punta Gorda, in Florida, United States. It is an operating base for Allegiant Air and is home to the Florida International Air Show.

The airport consists of a straightforward single building terminal. The terminal is named the Bailey Terminal. It has 7 gates contained within a single concourse. The gates are numbered from right to left.

The ticketing area is located on the east side of the terminal building (right-hand side when facing the building). The security checkpoint area is located as you head left towards the centre of the terminal building from the main ticketing area.

Concessions are located once past the security clearing area. Departures gates are located along the airside of the terminal, with more concessions located towards the east of the airside section of the terminal.

Baggage claim is located to the west end of the terminal building. There are also ATM’s and a coffee shop featuring fast foods.

The airport has one main pick-up and drop-off area, centrally located in front of the main terminal building.

Dining and shops at Punta Gorda Airport

There is a coffee shop located towards the north end of the terminal building, conveniently before the security checkpoint area.

Past the security clearing area, health and cosmetics are available for purchase, along with books, gifts, souvenirs, and travel accessories. There is also a bakery and a bar that serves cocktails with a view of the runway.

Find transportation from the airport: Ground services, pick-up area, rental cars, parking

Ground transport: Gulf Coast is the preferred provider for ground transportation services at the airport. These include taxi and shuttle services. Pick-up locations can be found as you exit the baggage claim area, towards the west side of the terminal building.

Cell Phone Waiting Lot: There is a cell phone waiting lot. This is for drivers waiting to pick up passengers from the airport. This lot can be found next to the Orange Long-Term Parking lot.

Car rentals: There are many car rental services with operations at the airport. They operate from the Rental Car Center. It is located to the north and east, across from the terminal building.

Parking: The airport has one short-term parking lot and three long-term parking lots. The short-term parking lot is located directly across from the terminal. No overnight parking is allowed. The three long-term parking lots are located to the south and further east away from the terminal. There is a free shuttle service from the long-term parking lot to the terminal.
