Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) is an international airport serving the region of Sarasota County, Florida, in the United States. It has been categorized as a “small hub” airport. It is located 3mi (4.8km) north of Downtown Sarasota.
The airport serves as an operating base for low-cost carrier Breeze Airways and handles several hundred flights per day to destinations throughout North America.
The airport contains one terminal with a total of 13 gates (Gates B1-B12, B14). The airport terminal has two storeys.
On the ground floor (Level 1), on the right side is where the check-in area and ticket counters for Departures are located. There are also information desks and airport police in the central area.
On the second floor (Level 2), is the security checkpoint area. Upon clearing security, down the hallway to the north, there is a pier that contains Gates B (B1-B14).
The Arrivals hall is located on the ground floor (Level 1) on the west side of the terminal building. This is where baggage claim is located, along with car rental services and ground transportation services.

There are several dining options for travelers when at the airport. Conveniently located before security on the upper level is Dewar’s Clubhouse, a golf-themed restaurant featuring traditional American bar and grill lunch and diner menus. There is also a Dunkin’ Donuts coffee shop featuring breakfast menu items.
Past security checkpoint areas, there are several more food shops available on the upper level where Gates B are located. These include cafes, more coffee shops, seafood restaurants, bars and grills and sit-down dining restaurants.
There are several retail shops for travelers to explore while waiting at the airport. These include a convenience store, conveniently located before entering security, that features food and snacks on the go, apparel, gifts, and souvenirs, along with newspapers and magazines.
There is also a PGA Tour Shop located before the security checkpoint area. It features specialty golf apparel, equipment, and merchandise for tourists and golf fans alike.
Past the security area, there are located more newsstands featuring gifts, books and snacks that can easily be taken onboard by passengers.
Bus: Public transit services are available from the Ground Transportation area at the west end, on the ground floor of the main terminal building. Buses there make regular stops to downtown Sarasota and downtown Bradenton.
Taxi: Taxis can be booked via telephone. They will arrange pick-ups in the second lane of the Ground Transportation queuing area.
Limo: ALD Limos offer on-demand services outside the baggage claim area on the west end of the terminal.
Ridesharing: Rideshare app services are available. Look for signs that point to the designated pick-up zone at the far west end of the Ground Transportation area.
Car rentals: Car rental companies are located in the baggage claim area.
Parking: Short-term parking is available directly across from the terminal building. There is long-term parking available, complete with free shuttle bus. Covered parking lots and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are also available.
