Key West International Airport (EYW) is an international airport located in Key West, Florida in the United States. It is situated 2 mi (3 km) east of the main commercial centre part of Key West.

The airport covers 334 acres at an elevation of only 3 feet. It has one runway with an asphalt surface. Its runway is relatively short at 5,076 feet (1,547 m). Its restricted length limits the size of aircraft that it can support, as well as the volume of weight it can handle for departing flights.

Key West Airport: Terminal and gate map

The airport is a single complex with two terminal buildings. The first terminal building, located closer to the front of the main entrance area, contains ticket counters and a security checkpoint, along with a restaurant.

Once cleared past the security checkpoint in the main terminal building, a corridor connects passengers to a second terminal building. In this second terminal building, there is a departures lounge and boarding gates that are facing airside, towards the runway. There is also a bar and dining area located to the right side of the departures hall, as you face the airside of the terminal.

The Arrivals Hall is located to the west side of the second terminal building, on the airside of the airport complex. Here, you can find baggage claim and also rental car counters, for car hire services. There is a taxi pickup area located outside of the Arrivals Hall, along with an area for rental car parking, and a designated zone for ridesharing services.

Additionally, there is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection building that is located to the right of the second terminal building.

Dining and shops at Key West Airport

There are several options for dining and drinks at the airport. There is a full table service restaurant with bar service prior to clearing security. There is also a full bar service located within the Arrivals Hall, before clearing past security. In the departures area, there is another full-service bar with counter dining available.

Two gift shops can be found at the airport. One of these is located prior to clearing security inside the main terminal. Another second gift shop can be found in the main terminal, after clearing past security.

Taxi: Taxi service is available at the curbside area outside of Arrivals and baggage claim.

Limousines: Limousine services can be booked. Pickup zones are located outside and to the right of the Arrivals Hall.

Rideshares: Transportation network companies are available at the airport. The designated pickup zone is outside and to the right of the Arrivals Hall.

Car rentals: Several car rental companies operate service counters inside the Arrivals Hall, across from the baggage claim area.

Parking: Short-term and long-term parking options are available at the airport. Short-term parking is on the west side of the main terminal building. Long-term parking is on the east side of the main terminal building.
