Newcastle International Airport (NCL) is an international airport serving Newcastle, England. It is the busiest airport in North East England and the second-busiest airport in Northern England.
It operates as a hub for Loganair, and is a focus city for Jet2.com, Ryanair, and TUI Airways. It is located 12.4km (7.7mi) from Newcastle City Centre.
The airport consists of a single terminal. It has one drop-off area for passengers arriving at the airport. After clearing the security checkpoint, there are several shops and restaurants.
Beyond the main hall, there is a pier containing several gates. There are multiple gates available for domestic and international flights.

Train: The airport is connected via Metro service to the North East rail network. The Newcastle Airport Metro station is directly connected to the terminal via an indoor walkway. Transit time between the airport and Newcastle Central Station takes approximately 25 minutes. Trains run 5:30am-12:00am.

Bus: The airport is serviced by a number of bus routes. These include a 30-minute route to the City Centre.
Taxi: Arrow Cars is the airport’s dedicated on-site Taxi service. Exclusive pick-up points are located immediately outside of the arrivals and departures area.
Car rental: There are several car hire companies with operations at the airport. These are located on the ground floor, opposite to the Arrivals area. Bookings are generally available between the hours 7:30am-10:00pm.
Parking: The airport offers several parking options. These include short-term and long-term stays, priority access, express services and parking for large vehicles.
