East Midlands Airport (EMA), also known as “Nottingham Airport” serves the surrounding region of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire. It operates as a hub for low-cost airlines Jet2.com and Ryanair, and tour operator TUI Airways.
It is the 14th busiest airport in the United Kingdom and the second busiest airport for cargo in the UK, behind only Heathrow Airport.
The airport consists of a single terminal. It handles both domestic and international flights.
Once clearing through security, there are several shops and areas for dining, including a lounge area.
The airside gates are situated in an L-shape, and numbered sequentially from right to left, when viewed from the front of the terminal building.
You can use our map at the top of this page to view the terminal layout, the location of the gates, as well as the main pick-up and drop-off area.
There are several dining options for travelers at the airport. These include cafes, sit-down restaurants, and fast-food establishments.
For those looking to do some shopping while at the airport, there are pharmacies, bookstores, fashion, sports apparel and duty-free outlets to explore.
There is an airport lounge, the Escape Lounge, where travelers and guests can enjoy quiet and dedicated workspaces, premium dishes cooked by in-house chefs, and premium drinks selections. The lounge can be accessed from inside the security checks, on the ground floor of the main terminal. It is located directly opposite from Gate 17.
