Located roughly 50 km northwest of London, Luton Airport (LTN) is one of the busiest in the UK. In 2023, its terminal welcomed 16.2 million travelers and as of today it is used by a total of seven airlines: EasyJet, WizzAir, TUI, Sun Express, Ryanair, El Al, and FlyOne. Here you will find connections to 130 destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
London Luton Airport consists of a single terminal building, making it easy for travelers to find their gate. Passengers will find over 60 check-in desks and three piers with roughly 40 gates.
Unfortunately, there are no hotels or sleeping pods inside London Luton Airport. However, travelers wanting to spend the night here will be able to choose among a few nearby options within ten minutes of walking distance from the terminal. These include Holiday Inn Express London - Luton Airport, Ibis London Luton Airport, and Holiday Inn London.
Here, you will find well-known fast-food chains and coffeehouses, such as Starbucks and Burger King. The terminal is also home to some local eateries and pubs.
Luton DART now connects Luton Airport to the UK’s capital in roughly 30 minutes. Buses are also available right outside the terminal. If you prefer to drive, Sixt is the closest car rental agency to the airport. Europcar is another good option, but its offices are slightly farther away.
