Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) is an international airport serving Liverpool, England. It is the 12th-busiest airport in the United Kingdom and offers flights to many European, North African and Middle Eastern destinations.
It serves as an operating base for easyJet, Jet2.com, and Ryanair. The airport is located 12km (7.5mi) south-east of Liverpool city centre.
Liverpool Airport consists of a single passenger terminal building. The arrivals and departures halls are connected within a short walking distance to each other.
The airport does not have any travelators or jet bridges, requiring passengers to walk to and from halls and gates.

There is an airport lounge, the Aspire Lounge. It is located on the way to the Departures area, next to the escalator and stairs on the right-hand side. Complimentary snacks and drinks are offered, in addition to a premium menu of food and drinks. Other airport lounge services include flight monitoring, comfortable seating, TV’s and free Wi-Fi access.
Rail: Liverpool South Parkway is the closest rail station to the airport. Transport is available to the train station, via the 80A and 86A bus services, which depart every 7-8 minutes. Rail services offer easy access and connections to many cities in the countryside.
Bus: Arriva’s 500 bus service is the fastest bus route between the airport and Liverpool city centre. Buses operate every 30-minutes between 4am and midnight. Many connections are available from the National Express coach network available from the Liverpool ONE bus station.
Taxi: Hackney Carriages, also known as black cabs, can be found at the rank located directly outside the exit to the airport terminal.
Parking: The airport has many parking options. These include, fast-track services, valet parking, short-stay parking, multi-storey parking garages, and long-term parking lots.
