Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is an international airport in Sacramento, California in the United States.
It serves the Sacramento Metropolitan Area and is located 10.5mi (16.9km) northwest of Downtown Sacramento.
The airport has two terminals, named Terminal A and Terminal B.
Terminal A: The newer of the two terminals. Located on the east side of the two terminal buildings. Hosts Gates A as part of two piers (A1-A5, A10-A17).
Terminal B: Located on the west side of the two terminal buildings, it consists of a landside portion, and an airside portion. These are connected by an Automated People Mover. Hosts Gates B (B4-B23).

Fortunately for travelers, there are many great options for dining while at the airport. These include cafes, fresh foods, fast foods, Mexican cuisine, pizzerias, sit-down restaurants and licensed establishments that serve alcoholic beverages.
Shops at the airport include the latest in athleisure brands, apparel, specialty retailers, travel essentials, cosmetics, electronics and technology, packaged foods, gifts and souvenirs, newsstands, and boutique shops featuring wines and sample tastings.
Bus: The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) runs an express bus service (Route 142) between the airport and downtown Sacramento. The service runs approximately every 20-30 minutes. It connects with the Yolobus service, which offers destinations throughout the local area.
Taxi: Taxis can be found at the ground transportation area adjacent to baggage claim in both terminals. Official taxis are white and feature airport branding.
Car rentals: There are several car rental companies that operate at the airport, at the Rental Car Terminal. The rental car terminal at the airport is located to the southeast of Terminals A and B. There is a shuttle bus service that picks up passengers from both terminals at the ground transportation areas near baggage claim.
Parking: There are several parking options available at the airport. Outside of Terminals A and B, there is a parking garage connected to each terminal by a pedestrian bridge. There is also a surface parking lot located further away from the terminals, that offers shuttle bus services at 15-20 minute intervals to each terminal. Economy parking is available further away from the airport. Shuttle bus services are available, but passengers should be aware that with services running at 25-30 minute intervals, the transit time between the economy lot and the airport terminals can reach as long as 60 minutes.
