Milan Malpensa Airport “Silvio Berlusconi” (MXP) is the largest airport in Northern Italy and the second busiest airport in Italy. It serves the 9th most countries in the world and the 6th most in Europe by direct flights. The airport is located 49km (30mi) northwest of Milan and is within a nature reserve included by UNESCO.
The airport has two passenger terminals. They are named, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Terminal 1: This is the newer, larger and more prominent of the two terminals.
Terminal 1 is divided in three sections, Concourses A, B, and C:
Concourse A: Domestic and intra-Schengen flights
Concourse B: Non-Schengen and intercontinental flights
Concourse C: (also known as B2) Non-Schengen, intercontinental flights and security-sensitive flights to the United States and Israel.
Terminal 2: This is the older of the two terminals. It primarily handles flights for easyJet.

A free shuttle service operates 24/7 between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. It has a frequency of 7 minutes between departure times. Journey time between the two terminals is approximately 15-20 minutes.
The airport is configured to be representative of a true shopping centre. It offers travelers a wide range of brands and products including fashion, electronics, duty-free and accessories. In addition, there are numerous high-quality dining outlets, and several VIP lounges where guests can relax.

Rail: The airport is served by two train stations, one at each terminal. Malpensa Express is a direct train connection that operates between Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Milan’s city centre.
Bus: Malpensa Shuttle and Malpensa Bus Express connect the airport to the Milan Central station and to Milan’s Metro network. BusItalia Fast connects the airport with several major cities in Northern Italy. The airport also offers a direct coach connection to Milan’s Linate Airport.

Parking: The airport has eight different types of parking services available, including covered and uncovered at both terminals, and executive and long-term options at Terminal 1.
There are two hotels conveniently located near both terminals. Sheraton Milan Malpensa provides guests with direct access to Terminal 1. The Moxy Milan Malpensa Airport hotel is located in close proximity to Terminal 2.
