HotelMilan Bergamo Airport (BGY), also known as Orio al Serio International Airport, is the third-busiest international airport in Italy. It is officially named “Il Caravaggio International Airport”, after the famous painter. The airport is located in Orio al Serio, 3.7km (2.3mi) southeast of Bergamo and 45km (28mi) northeast of Milan.
Il Caravaggio International Airport is part of the Milan airport system, along with Malpensa Airport and Linate Airport. It is one of Ryanair’s three largest operating bases.
The airport has one terminal. It is named, Terminal 1.
Terminal 1: Divided in two zones:
Gate A13 and Gate B5 are equipped with boarding bridges. The remaining gates are remote gates.

Milan Bergamo Airport has a variety of dining options available to choose from. These include cafes, bakeries, fast food, sandwiches, fresh foods, juices, hamburgers and Mediterranean cuisine. There are also several licensed shops available that serve wine, spirits and craft beer.

Taxi: Taxis are available outside the Arrivals Hall and are available 24/7.
Car rentals: Several car rental agencies can be found after exiting the Arrivals gate. There are additional off-site locations, which typically offer shuttle services from the airport.
Bus: Several bus services run transportation links to and from downtown Milan, including express coaches. There are also connections available from Bergamo city center.
Rail: The nearest railway station is Bergamo railway station, located 5.6km (3.5mi) from the airport. There is no official shuttle between the airport and the railway station.
