The country of Greece is home to dozens of airports, including major international airports located on several of its different islands. The largest and busiest airport in Greece is Athens Airport (ATH), also known as Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport, named after the famous Greek Prime Minister who made significant contributions to the development of aviation in the country. It is a major hub for international travel and the main international airport serving Greece. It offers flights to North America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and many destinations in Europe.

The second largest airport in the country is Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) located towards the northern part of the country. It serves both domestic and international flights like Athens Airport, but it does not offer as much depth in travel destinations. Most flights that originate from Thessaloniki Airport are headed to European travel destinations.

Located on Rhodes Island, towards the southeast of Greece, Rhodes Airport (RHO) services flights to many destinations throughout the country and within Europe. Rhodes is a vibrant urban centre known for its rich history, cultural heritage and beautiful beaches. Rhodes Airport is the fourth busiest airport in Greece.

Situated on the island of Corfu, Corfu Airport (CFU) is near the city of Kerkyra and a main airport for handing the influx of travelers to Greece during the busy summer months, between April and October. Like Thessaloniki and Rhodes Airports, Corfu Airport also serves a number of domestic and international flights, mainly throughout the Europe region.
