Valencia Airport (VLC), also known as “Manises Airport”, is the tenth busiest airport in Spain and second busiest in the Valencian region. It serves as the main base for Iberia’s regional carrier Air Nostrum.

The airport offers flight connections to nearly 20 countries, mostly featuring European destinations. it is located 8km (5.0mi) west of the city of Valencia.

Valencia Airport: Terminal and gate map

The airport consists of a single terminal. The landside hall consists of three check-in areas. Once passed through the security check, the airside area has three gating sections:

• Gates 1-4 are found in the newest section of the airport. They are used for non-Schengen flights.
• Gates 5-12 are located directly ahead of the main check-in area.
• Gates 13-22 are located in a separate hall designated for regional flights. These are mainly used by Iberia Regional and low-cost carriers.

Dining, shops and lounges at Valencia Airport

The airport has a variety of dining options for travelers and guests to enjoy. These include coffee shops, fast food, takeaway, local cuisine, beers, wines, tapas and sit-down restaurants, including a sports bar.

Shops are located throughout the airport and include news, books, convenience items, fashion, accessories and duty-free goods.

Travelers at the airport looking for some extra space to relax and unwind may be interested in the Joan Olivert VIP Lounge.

Conveniently located on the first-floor boarding area, the lounge offers several premium services for guests. These include special dietary restrictions, access to digital press features, work spaces, showers, and a rest area.

Find transportation from the airport: Bus, taxi, rental cars, parking

Bus: Metrobus line 150 links the airport directly to Valencia city centre, with intermediate stops along the way. The bus stops at the airport opposite the main terminal entrance, as shown in our map at the top of this page.

Taxi: Taxi services are provided by the urban taxis of the Valencia joint service area. Pick-up location is located directly outside the airport at the taxi rank.

Car rentals: Counters for car rental companies are located on the Ground Floor of the Arrivals hall.

Parking: Several parking options are located close to the airport. These include general parking, express services, long-term stays, and parking for bicycles and motorbikes.
