Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport (ALC) is an international airport serving the Valencian Community and Region of Murcia. It is the largest airport in the Valencian Community, one of the 50 busiest airports in Europe, and the fifth-busiest airport in Spain.
With up 80% of all passenger flights coming from international destinations, the airport serves as a base for Air Nostrum, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Ryanair, and Vueling. It is located 9km (5.6mi) southwest of the city of Alicante and 10km (6.2mi) east of the city of Elche.
The airport has one terminal. It is named, Terminal N.
Terminal N: (Nueva Área Terminal) has two areas:
Flights within the Schengen area use both areas of the terminal.
Flights to non-Schengen destinations use only the dock.

Alicante Airport has a variety of dining options available to choose from. These include cafes, fast food, takeaway options, packaged food and drinks, sit-down restaurants, and a brewery featuring an outdoor terrace.
The airport features a wide range of shops for travelers including press, bookstores, pharmacy, fashion and accessories, tobacco products, lottery and betting, duty free items, and the latest in technology.
Additionally, there is a VIP lounge located on the first floor of the boarding area. It includes services such as flight information, Wi-Fi, premium food options, television and computer access, in addition to a relaxation area.
Taxi: Two companies operate taxi services at the airport, Radio Taxi Elche and Servitaxi Elche. Official taxi vehicles are marked by a green strip that crosses from the front to the rear and the city of Elche coat of arms on the front doors.
Tram: The C6 bus line links the airport with the Luceros station of TRAM, a local metropolitan and regional train network. The location of the tram station can be found using the map at the top of this page.
Bus: Line C-6 connects the terminal building with the centre of Alicante, 365 days a year. The location of the bus station can be found in the map at the top of this page.
Car rentals: Several car rental agencies operate at the airport. They are located near the Arrivals Hall, on the ground floor.
Parking: The airport has several parking options to choose from. These include express services, preferred access terminal parking, advance bookings, and long-term stays.
