Tenerife South Airport (TFS), also known as Tenerife South-Reina Sofia Airport, is the second busiest airport in the Canary Islands. It is the larger of two international airports located on the island of Tenerife, the largest and most populous island of the Canary Islands.

The airport consists of one terminal. It is a single, three-story building.

The terminal contains three levels:

• Main Floor (Level 0): Contains all check-in and service counters, Departures area, Arrivals Hall, and baggage reclaim area. The Departures area features 40 boarding gates, (Gates A, B, C).
• Upper Floor (Level 1): Consists of offices and transit corridors.
• Basement Level (Level -1): Additional luggage belts.

Dining, shops and lounges at Tenerife South Airport

There are many dining options for travelers to choose from while at the airport. These include coffee shops, takeaway prepared foods, popular fast-food chains, sit-down restaurants that feature local menu items, as well as several pubs and tapas spots.

Travelers at the airport will have many shops to choose from. These include news, books and convenience, pharmacy, fashion and accessories, duty free shopping and the latest in electronics.

Additionally, VIP services at the airport include the Montaña Roja VIP Lounge, located in the passenger-only zone on the first floor of the Departures area. Offered services at the lounge include premium food menus, digital press access, Wi-Fi, and a children’s area.

Find transportation from the airport: Bus, taxi, car rentals

Bus: Public bus service, TITSA, offers services to all parts of the island. Line 343 connects the airport directly with Tenerife North Airport.

Taxi: Taxis are available from the designated taxi rank located outside the Arrivals area, on the ground floor (Level 0). The airport advises passengers to obtain a receipt copy in all cases.

Car rentals: There are several car rental companies that operate at the airport. They are authorized by AENA, the Spanish air navigation manager, whereas off-site car rental agencies are not. On-site car rental counters can be found located in the Arrivals hall for both domestic and international flights, on the ground floor (Level 0).
