Located about 16 km southeast of Yekaterinburg, Koltsovo International Airport (SVX) is the main airport in the Sverdlovsk Oblast, one of the over 80 federal subjects in Russia. This airport welcomes a few million passengers per year and also serves as a hub for some airlines, including Ural Airlines, RusLina, and Avicon Zitotrans.

This airport consists of two conjoined terminals.

• Terminal A: This terminal only operates domestic flights. On the first floor, you will find check-in desks and the baggage claim area. All the gates are on the second floor.
• Terminal B: Terminal B is for all international flights. Customs controls are on the first floor, together with passport controls, check-ins, and the baggage claim area. Gates can be found on the second floor, along with a variety of restaurants.

Several buses operate between the airport, Yekaterinburg city, and other locations in the area. Another option is to take the train at the train station conveniently located 300 meters from the terminals. Car rental agencies, such as Avis, are also available on-site.
