Tolmachevo Airport (OVB) is one of the main hubs in Russia. It serves the city of Novosibirsk, which is one of the largest in the country. OVB is located about 16 km west of Novosibirsk city center in a small town known as Ob. As of today, it operates flights from about 30 companies, and in the past, it welcomed over 6 million passengers in a single year.

This airport has one big terminal divided into two sections.

• Section A: This section has two floors. The first floor houses arrivals and check-ins, while the second floor is for the gates.
• Section B: Section B is divided into three floors. Arrivals are both on the first and second floors, while check-in desks are on the first. The gates can be found on the third floor, along with a few restaurants and stores.

There are three main ways to reach Novosibirsk city from the airport:

• Bus: Several buses connect the terminal with the Novosibirsk-Glavniy train station. These depart roughly every 30 minutes but only operate during the day, so if you're arriving late at night, this option won't be available for you.
• Train: The town of Ob has a train station from where you will be able to get a train to Novosibirsk.
• Car rental: Agencies such as Avis and Hertz operate at the airport.
