The airport is home to major airline Emirates and caters to more international travellers than most airports worldwide. Dubai International Airport offers connections to more than 260 non-stop destinations spread around the globe, and is also an important connecting airport.

Each terminal serves different airlines and destinations – below you can learn a little more about each terminal.
This terminal is primarily used by international airlines and is home to Concourse D. It features gates D1 to D32, and offers a lot of options when it comes to shopping and dining. Terminal 1 is connected to Terminal 3 via an automated train.
Terminal 2 is used by budget airlines and regional carriers, including flydubai. It is a smaller terminal but still provides both duty-free shops and food outlets. This terminal primarily serves flights within the Middle East and South Asia.
Terminal 3 is almost exclusively used by Emirates. It is the largest terminal at DXB and consists of Concourse A, B and C, with gates A1 to A24, B1 to B32 and C1 to C50. Terminal 3 offers luxury amenities, including premium lounges, high-end shopping and even a hotel within the terminal.
DXB Airport is located in the Al Garhoud district and is easily accessible via major roads, including the Sheikh Rashid Road (E11) and Al Ittihad Road (D89). It's close to several key landmarks in Dubai, such as the Dubai Creek and the historic districts of Deira and Bur Dubai. You also have quick access to newer developments like Downtown Dubai and the Dubai Marina. To get from the airport to the other parts of the city, the Dubai Metro is a good option.
