Brisbane Airport (BNE) is an international airport serving Brisbane, Australia. It has the third highest number of domestic connections among Australian airports and is the largest airport in Australia.
It serves as the primary hub for Virgin Australia, a major hub for Qantas, and a secondary hub for Qanta’s low-cost subsidiary carrier, Jetstar. It also serves as an operating base for Alliance Airlines and Rex Airlines.
The airport has two terminals. They are named, Domestic Terminal and International Terminal.
Domestic Terminal: The northernmost of the two terminals. It is a two-storey curved building, with three satellite arms that extend beyond the main building. The satellite arms mainly contain passenger lounges and gate facilities.
International Terminal: The southernmost of the two terminals. It is a long S-shaped building.

Services operate using the Orange bus stops at the Domestic Terminal, and bus stops at Level 4 of the International Terminal. Except for, Terminal Transfer Bus pick-ups from the International Terminal. These use the bus stops at Level 2 of the International Terminal.
There are many dining options for travelers to enjoy at the airport. These include outlets conveniently located before and after security featuring juice bars, cafes, baked goods and sweets, sandwiches, bars and grilles, fast food chains, and high-quality sit-down restaurants.
Shops at the airport include the latest in cosmetics and beauty, pharmacy, travel essentials, gifts and souvenirs, fashion and accessories, news, books, electronics and duty free.
At the Domestic Terminal, the northern concourse offers several lounges. These include The Qantas Club, Business Class, and Chairman’s Lounge.
In the southern concourse of the Domestic Terminal, there are two lounges, the Virgin Australia Lounge, and the Beyond Lounge.
The International Terminal offers several lounges including, an Emirates lounge, Air New Zealand, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Aspire and Plaza Premium lounges.
Train: The Airtrain offers services between the airport and Brisbane City. Transit time takes approximately 20 minutes. Connections include links to the Gold Coast and Surfer’s Paradise. Services run every 15 minutes during peak times, and every 30 minutes during off-peak hours. The Airtrain Station is located across from the Domestic Terminal and can be accessed using the Skywalk. At the International Terminal, the station can be accessed via the lift to the third floor.
Bus: Brisbane City Council operates bus services from the Skygate Centre. Bus Route 590 runs 7 days a week, with connections to the rail network at Toombul Interchange, and other Brisbane suburbs.
Taxi: Taxis are available 24/7 outside of both terminals. At the Domestic Terminal, ranks are located centrally in front of the terminal building. At the International Terminal, ranks are located on Level 2, near Arrivals Road, to the left of the exit doors.
Rideshare: Services are available at the Domestic Terminal on the central road between taxi pick up and passenger drop offs, on either side of the Skywalk. At the International Terminal, rideshare services operate from Level 1, follow the signs for “Rideshare Booking” as you exit the building.
Car rentals: There are several car rental agencies with operations at the airport, and off-site. On-site operators are located on Level 1, near the baggage claim at both the north and south ends of the Domestic Terminal. In the International Terminal, car rental counters can be found on Level 2, behind Spoon Café. Off-site rental companies offer transfers from the airport. Transfers can be found adjacent to the P1 Car Park near the Domestic Terminal and from Level 2 of the northern end of the International Terminal.
Parking: Several parking options are available at the airport. These include long-term stays, short-term options, priority underground access, express and valet parking services, as well as economical options that offer both covered and uncovered lots.
