King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is often colloquially referred to as Jeddah Airport, Jeddah International Airport, or KAIA. It is a major international airport serving the cities of Jeddah and Mecca in Saudi Arabia. It is the busiest airport in the kingdom and one of the busiest airports in the Middle East. The airport serves as the largest hub for Saudi’s flag carrier, Saudia, and as an operating base for national low-cost carriers Flynas and Flyadeal. It is located 19km (12mi) north of Jeddah.
The airport has three terminals. They are named Terminal 1, North Terminal (Terminal N), and Hajj Terminal (Terminal H).
Terminal 1: One of the largest airport terminals in the world. It handles most of the flight operations coming into Jeddah. This includes the operations of approximately 19 airlines including British Airways, Emirates, and Thai Airways International.
It is split into domestic and international sides. Both sides contain their own separate facilities for check-in and boarding areas.
Terminal 1 is only accessible by car and shuttle bus. The pick-up and drop-off location for this terminal is shown in the map at the top of this page.
North Terminal: (Terminal N) Mainly used by non-Saudi airlines. It also accommodates an additional 20 international airlines that operate during the Hajj and Umrah season.
There is a shuttle bus connecting the North Terminal to Terminal 1.
Hajj Terminal: (Terminal H) is dedicated for managing the influx of pilgrims taking part in the annual Islamic Hajj pilgrimage. It is known for its tent-like roof structure and flexible, open area called the Terminal Support Area. The area is conceived to function like a village and includes a souk and mosque.

There are several dining options available in Terminal 1 and the Hajj Terminal including cafes, takeouts, and local cuisine.
Terminal 1 is equipped with 120 shops, and an airside hotel with 120 rooms for passengers arriving on international transit flights. There are also several lounges in Terminal 1 with services including snacks, Wi-Fi, premium food, TV, flight monitors, and a children’s area.
North Terminal features two lounges that operate 24 hours a day. In addition, services include a barber shop, post office, banks, duty free stores, first-aid services, and several others.
Hajj and Umrah Terminal Complex includes restaurant areas, snacks, shops, prayer areas, banks, post office, telephones, airline information counters, a medical clinic and several others.

High Speed Railway Station: Terminal 1 is connected to the Haramain High Speed Railway mainline next to the Arrivals area. It provides regular connections to the Islamic holy cities of Mecca and Medina, in addition to the King Abdullah Economic City. The train operates from 6:30am to 12:30am daily and includes waiting lounges for first-class passengers.
Taxis: Various taxicabs wait outside the terminals of the airport at the designated pick-up and drop-off areas. There are also limousine services available.
Parking: There is parking available at each terminal. Long-term parking options are available.
