George Bush Intercontinental Airport, often referred to by its IATA code IAH, is located about 20 miles north of the central parts of Houston. The airport serves both domestic and international connections and has more than 180 destinations worldwide across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. IAH Airport is a wide-stretched airport with five main terminals labeled A through E. Primarily serving domestic flights, Terminal A is home to several airlines including American Airlines and Frontier Airlines. It has two concourses with gates A1 to A30. The terminal offers a variety of dining and shopping options.
United Airlines mainly operates out of Terminal B for its domestic flights, particularly those within Texas and to nearby states. This terminal features multiple gates from B1 to B88.
Also used by United Airlines, Terminal C caters to both domestic and some international flights. It is equipped with gates C1 to C45 and offers a range of passenger services, including lounges and fast-track security options.
Terminal D is the main terminal for international flights operated by a variety of carriers, including British Airways and Air France. It has gates D1 to D12 and provides an array of duty-free shops and dining options.
Connected to Terminal D, Terminal E handles a significant portion of United Airlines’ international traffic. Here you find gates E1 to E24.
