Haneda Airport (HND), also sometimes referred to as Tokyo-Haneda, is one of two airports serving the Greater Tokyo Area. It is located 15km (9.3mi) south of Tokyo Station.
The airport serves as the primary domestic base for Japan’s two largest airlines, Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways. It also serves as the base for RegionalPlus Wings, Skymark Airlines, and StarFlyer.
It is one of the busiest airports in the world.
The airport has three passenger terminals. They are named Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3.
Terminal 1: Exclusively used for domestic flights. It is served by Japan Airlines, Skymark Airlines, and StarFlyer.
Terminal 2: Handles both domestic and international flights. Served by All Nippon Airways, Air Do, Solaseed Air for their domestic flights.
Terminal 3: Formerly known as the International Terminal. Serves most the airport’s international flights.

There is a wide variety of dining options to choose from at the airport. These include cafes, fast food and light takeaway meals, food courts, bars, and restaurants that offer a range of Western foods, Chinese foods, and Japanese foods.
Shops at the airport offer plenty of options for travelers to choose from. These include convenience stores, grocery stores, books, travel goods, fashion, toys, souvenirs, and the latest in electronic appliances and technology.

Terminal 1 includes a six-storey dining restaurant, conference rooms for business travelers, and a large rooftop observation deck complete with an open-air rooftop café.
Terminal 2 features an open-air rooftop restaurant for high quality dining, a six-storey shopping area complete with restaurants for travelers to choose from, and the Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu.
Terminal 3 offers several airline lounges managed by Oneworld members Japan Airlines and Cathay Pacific, Star Alliance member All Nippon Airways, and SkyTeam member Delta Air Lines.
Train: The airport is directly connected to the Keikyu Line and the Tokyo Monorail Line. Transit time is approximately 13 minutes to Hamamatsucho Station using the Haneda Express, and 13 minutes to Shinagawa Station using the Airport Limited Express. Both services maintain stops at all three terminals.
Bus: The airport offers express and route buses to many cities and locations. Tickets can be purchased from the bus ticketing counter, available at all three terminals.
Taxi: Taxi services are available from all three terminals. Taxi ranks can be found on the ground floor level, outside of the Arrivals area, in all cases.
Water taxi: Water taxis, also known as “limousine boats” run services from the airport to locations in Tokyo. They are available at Terminal 3.
Car rentals: Several car rental agencies operate counters at the airport. These can be found in the Arrivals area, on the ground floor of Terminals 1 and 2, and on the second floor in the Arrivals area of Terminal 3.
Parking: Several parking options are available at the airport. These include spaces for large-sized cars, motorcycles, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, and private garages. The location of parking areas can be found using our map at the top of this page.
