Brussels Airport (BRU), also known as Brussels-National Airport or Brussels-Zaventem Airport, is the main international airport of Belgium. It serves as the home base for Brussels Airlines and TUI fly Belgium. It is located in the municipality of Zaventem, 12km (7.5mi) northeast of Brussels.
The airport follows a single building concept, with two terminals located under a one roof.
You can use our map at the top of this page to find the location of each terminal and its gates.
Terminal A: Also known as Pier A, is the newest of the two terminals. It supports flights to Schengen countries (Gates A) as well as Brussels Airlines flights to New York and African destinations (Gates T).
Terminal B: Also known as Pier B, is the older of the two terminals. It is only used for flights outside of the Schengen Area. This terminal is connected directly to the main departure hall.
The two terminals are connected by a building named the “Connector” which allows for travelers to transfer between Pier A and B without having to pass through a security check.

The airport includes a variety of dining and shopping options for travelers to choose from. These range from cafes and juice bars to restaurants and takeaway featuring local and international gourmet cuisine. Shops includes the latest in electronics, fashion, jewellery, gifts and duty free items.
Train: The Airport Railway Station is located under the airport building (level -1). The station operates at least four train services each hour, including connections to international destinations offered by Eurostar.
Bus: Public transport is available, located in front of the airport. Intercity bus services are also available within walking distance from the airport. There are also coach services and hotel shuttle busses with dedicated pick-up and drop-off locations at the airport.
Rental cars: Several rental car agencies operate at the airport. These are located within walking distance of the arrivals hall.
Parking: A range of parking is available, including indoor and outdoor parking spaces, and free stopping areas at the designated drop-off, which can be located using our map at the top of this page.
Meeting rooms are conveniently located before entering security. The airport also offers two lounges for travelers, one in each of its terminals.
