Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) is an international airport serving Bengaluru, India. It is the third-busiest airport in India, offering connecting flights to all six continents, and direct flights to five continents.
The airport serves as a hub for Air India, Alliance Air, DHL Aviation, FedEx Express, and Star Air. It is an operating base for Air India Express, Akasa Air, and IndiGo. The airport is located approximately 35km (22mi) north of Bangaluru, near the suburb of Devanahalli.
The airport consists of two passenger terminals. They are named Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Terminal 1: Pick-up and drop-off locations can be found on the ground floor level, along with security check-in, the Arrivals area, and many shops and restaurants. On the first floor are located Departures, in addition to several shops, restaurants, and lounge areas. On the second floor there are additional airport lounges, a bar, and reserved smoking area.
Terminal 2: Arrivals are located on the ground floor level, along with the baggage reclaim area and a bus station. The first floor features several art displays. On the third floor, there are a variety of shops, restaurants, and Departure gates. The fourth floor includes two airport lounges.

There are many attractive dining options to choose from while at the airport. These include fast food, grocers, bakeries and cafes, to high quality sit-down restaurants, tapas and bars. Dining options are available for travelers throughout both terminals.
There are many shopping outlets for passengers and guests to enjoy on both sides of security at the airport. These include fashion and apparel, alcohol and spirits, beauty, cosmetics, fragrances and accessories, sweets, souvenirs and the latest in electronics and technology.
Additionally, the airport features lounges in both terminals. These are available for domestic passengers in Terminal 1 and for both domestic and international passengers in Terminal 2.
The airport also offers spa facilities for travelers in both the domestic and international areas of Terminal 2, and transit hotels conveniently located in both terminals.
Offering a variety of luxurious rooms, restaurants and banquet facilities, the Taj Bangalore hotel is located directly opposite Terminal 1.
Bus: The BMTC Vayu Vajra bus service offers efficient and inexpensive, air-conditioned transit to the city centre.
Intercity Bus: The Flybus is an intercity bus service offered by KSRTC for travel between the airport and cities in Karnataka and other South Indian states. Services operate from Terminal 2 MMTH mezzanine floor with vehicle staging at Terminal 1.
Train: Indian Railways operates services between the airport railway station and Bengaluru station. Shuttle services are available between the airport and the railway station.
Taxi: Airport taxis can be booked at taxi stands or online using apps. Special ‘women drivers’ cabs are available for women, driven by women.
Car rentals: Cars are available to rent from fleet-operators Carzonrent and WTi cabs. Services are available from the Carzonrent and WTi cabs counters at the airport.
Parking: Several parking services are available at the airport. These include covered and uncovered parking, electric vehicle charging stations, and motorcycle parking.
