Located roughly 11 km west of Kraków, Kraków John Paul II International Airport (KRK) is Poland’s second busiest airport. In 2023, its terminal welcomed over 9 million passengers, and as of today, this airport is operating flights from almost 30 different airlines. Connecting Kraków to plenty of destinations in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and even the USA, Kraków International Airport is a main hub in central Europe thanks to its strategic location.
Despite being Poland’s second-largest airport, Kraków International Airport has a single terminal with 18 gates, making it easy for passengers to navigate the building.

The best way to travel to Kraków International Airport is by train. However, the airport can also be reached through three regular bus lines. Buses 209 and 300 operate during the day, while bus 902 is perfect for those arriving or departing late at night. Private companies such as Flixbus, Neobus, and East-West Eurolines connect the airport to other Polish cities.
