HotelLocated near the city of Bentonville, Northwest Arkansas Airport (XNA) is one of the main hubs in Arkansas. Back in 2023, it welcomed almost 2 million passengers, operating approximately 39 flights daily. The airport opened in 1998 and is now used by a total of six airlines: Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Breeze Airways, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, and United Airlines. These operate flights to over twenty destinations in all corners of the States, thanks to XNA’s strategic location.
XNA consists of a single terminal building, making it easy for passengers to find their gate. This is divided into two floors:
Lower Level: The entrance to the terminal is south of the building. Once inside, passengers will find baggage carousels, car rental agencies, and taxi counters on their left. Airlines’ ticket counters are on the right. This floor also has an airside area home to Gates C1-C5.
Upper Level: This floor features the TSA checkpoints. After passing through security, travelers will find Gates B on the left and Concourse A on the right.
Unfortunately, there are no sleeping cabins in the terminal. Those planning to spend a night here should either head to a nearby city or find accommodation providing a shuttle to the airport.
XNA has several amenities and services for its passengers. Here, travelers will find courtesy phones, water refilling stations, and a USPS mail drop. The upper floor features business centers, a pet relief area, and a quiet room for those who need some relaxing time before their flight. Families can make use of the kids’ play area and the Mamava lactation pod located between Gates A and B. Free Wi-Fi is also available, as well as some restaurants and a couple of stores, for last-minute purchases.
Unfortunately, public transportation doesn’t serve this airport. Those traveling here soon can opt for one of the other options available:
Shuttle & Taxi: Jim’s Express Taxi and Pinnacle Car Services provide transportation services to several destinations.
Car Sharing: Lyft and Uber are also available.
Car Hire: Six car rental agencies can be found on the lower floor of the terminal.
