Tromsø Airport (TOS) is a major international airport serving the city of Tromsø, Norway. Operated by state-owned Avinor, it is the fifth-busiest airport in Norway.

The airport is located on the western shore on the island of Tromsøya. It is a focus city for Lufttransport and Widerøe.

The airport is a single building terminal that handles both domestic and international flights.

There are separate areas for the boarding gates that handle international flights and domestic flights.

Dining and shops at Tromso Airport

Once past the security clearing area, there are several restaurants located in the domestic boarding area. These include a café, juice bar and a gourmet sit-down restaurant. In the area for international departures, there is a bar serving coffees, tea, cold beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages.

Shops on the domestic side of the airport feature a bookstore and a shop that includes luxury fashion brands, cosmetics, fragrances and perfumes at duty-free prices.

On the international side of the airport, there is a duty free shop that offers tax free pricing on items such as perfumes, cosmetics, tobacco, chocolate, alcoholic beverages, and more.

Bus: An airport express coach service (Flybussen) offers services to several key stops on the way to Tromsø city centre. Transit time takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

There is also a local bus service (Route 40, 42) that makes stops at the airport. Transit time to reach the city centre is approximately 15-20 minutes.

Taxi: Multiple taxi companies offer services at the taxi stand outside of the arrivals hall. Travel time to reach Tromsø city centre is approximately 10 minutes.

Car rentals: Multiple car rental companies have operations at the airport. Their counters can be found outside the main terminal building.

Parking: A variety of parking options are available at the airport. These include indoor parking at lot P2 which offers direct access to the terminal, and outdoor parking lots at P3 and P7. Both of the outdoor lots are within a short walking distance (1-2 minutes) to the terminal. P6 offers indoor parking a further distance away from the terminal. Parking services for those with disabilities are also available, as are charging stations for electric vehicles (EV).
