Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), previously known as “Isla Verde International Airport” is the primary international airport of Puerto Rico, serving its capital city San Juan, and the surrounding metropolitan area.
It is located in the beach-front district of Isla Verde and is the 39th busiest airport in the United States including its territories. It is also the busiest airport among those located in the Caribbean, and serves as a major gateway to the region.
The airport is one large building that contains four concourses, which are each given their own terminal names.
Terminal A: Has its own ticketing area. Used for domestic and international flights by JetBlue. It also hosts flights for Air Canada, Avelo, JetBlue, and Tradewind Aviation. Gates A (A1-A8).
Terminal B: Hosts the ticketing and check-in counters for all flights using Terminal B, C, and D. Gates B (B2-B10) are located down the hallway area.
Terminal C: Used by Air Canada, American Airlines, Avianca, Copa, Frontier, Iberia, and for JetBlue’s international arrivals. Gates C (C2-C10).
Terminal D: Mainly used by small and regional operators. Gates D (D1-D9).

There are a wide variety of dining options at the airport. These include cafes, fast foods, takeaway, casual dining, sit-down restaurants, and bars and grills.
The airport offers several shops for travelers to explore. These include travel essentials, convenience items, fashion and apparel, the latest in electronics and duty free shopping.
There are lounges at the airport where guests can relax and unwind. These include The Lounge San Juan in Terminal A for Priority Pass members, and an Avianca VIP lounge operated by the Global Lounge Network located at the entrance of Terminal C.
Bus: Several bus routes operate from the second level of the airport, at the Departures level, of Terminals A and D.
Taxis: Taxi services can be found outside the baggage area, at the Arrivals level, of Terminal A, B and C.
Ride-sharing: The designated area for ride sharing pick up locations is at Terminal A, and Terminal B and C, near columns 16-19, of the Arrivals area.
Car rentals: Several car rental companies have operations at the airport. Their location is shown on our map at the top of this page, directly across the roadway from the pick-up and drop-off area, in the main parking garage building.
Parking: Across the street from the terminal is the main parking garage building, as shown on the map at the top of this page. Additionally, there is long-term parking available, complete with 24/7 surveillance, and a cell phone lot for guests waiting to pick up their friends and family from the airport.
