Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) is the primary international airport serving the country of Singapore. It is also one of the largest transportation hubs in Asia. With flights for more than 100 airlines, it offers services throughout Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
It serves as the homebase for the country’s national flag carrier, Singapore Airlines, its low-cost subsidiary Scoot, Jetstar Aisa and is also a focus city for Australia’s national flag carrier, Qantas. The airport is located 24 km (15 mi) east of the downtown Singapore core.
It is among the busiest airports in the world, ranked the fourth busiest airport internationally in 2023. The airport has also been awarded as one of the world’s cleanest airport’s anywhere in the world, and with the best airport support staff.
The airport is made up of four main passenger terminals, each of which are formed in a U-shape. Each terminal has its own separate pick-up and drop-off area, along with security checkpoint and boarding gates.

The airport also offers a privately run luxury terminal. It is called the JetQuay CIP Terminal and is open to all passengers travelling with all airlines, subject to an access fee.
There are many options for dining while at the Singapore Changi Airport. These include but are not limited to, breakfast cafes, fast food, food courts, packaged foods, takeaway, local cuisine, fine dining and licensed pubs and grills.
Among the many retailers at the airport, include beauty suppliers, fashion, accessories, souvenirs, luggage and travel essentials, the latest in electronics, entertainment, wines, spirits, and luxury brands.
Rail: The airport is connected with the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) network. The Changi Airport station is located underground between Terminals 2 and 3.
Bus: Bus stops for several bus services can be found at the basement bays of Terminals 1, 2, and 3. There is a stop outside of Terminal 4 next to Car Park 4B. There is also a free shuttle bus that operates between the airport and Changi Business Park. It runs only between Mondays and Fridays, except public holidays.
Taxi: Taxis are available at designated stands in the arrivals hall of each terminal. An additional airport surcharge is applied to all trips originating from the airport. Limousines can be accessed through the Ground Transport Concierge.
Parking: There are a total of eight car parks at the airport. Options include electric vehicle charging stations and motorcycle parking. Services are available 24 hours. A 10-minute grace period is afforded for pick-ups and drop-offs at all parking lots.
