Portland International Airport (PDX), often referred to by its IATA airport code, “PDX”, is the largest airport in the U.S. state of Oregon. It accounts for 90% of the state’s air travel, offering direct flights to many North American destinations, as well as to Hawaii and select European cities.
The airport is a joint civil-military airport. The Oregan Air National Guard maintains a base on the southwest portion of the airport grounds. The airport also serves as a hub for Alaska Airlines and serves as a maintenance facility for Alaskan Air subsidiary Horizon Air.
The airport has one passenger terminal, and four concourses.
Concourse B: Primarily serves domestic flights. Gates B (B3-B11).
Concourse C: Serves domestic flights. Gates C (C4-C23).
Concourse D: Serves both domestic and international flights. Gates D (D4-D15).
Concourse E: Primarily serves domestic flights. Gates E (E2-E13).

The airport offers many dining varieties for passengers to choose from. These range from coffee and donuts, to juice bars, sandwich shops, bars and restaurants. The majority of the places to dine at the airport are behind the security checkpoints.
There are many shops at the airport for travelers to explore. These include newspaper stands, travel essentials, apparel and specialty stores, wine boutiques, books, and the latest in electronics and technology.
Rail: There is a Red Line light rail service that departs from the airport every 15 minutes. The station can be found at the south end of the terminal building, near the baggage claim area.
Taxi: Taxis, limos, town cars and ridesharing services can be found directly opposite the terminal, outside the baggage claim area.
Bus services: Several shuttle bus services run from the terminal. The bus station is centrally located directly opposite the terminal entrance, near the baggage claim area.
Car rentals: Rental car companies operate desks at the Rental Car center. It is located opposite the airport terminal building, nearest to Concourse B, at the south and of the terminal building.
Parking: Several parking options are available at the airport. These include short-term stays, long-term stays, economical parking, and valet services. Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are available in the short-term parking garage 1, on level 4.
