Felipe Angeles International Airport (NLU), also known as Mexico City Felipe Angeles International Airport, Mexico City-AIFA, and formerly as Santa Lucia Air Force Base, is an international airport found in the municipality of Zumpango, located 35 km (22mi) north of Mexico City.
This airport opened in 2022 and is the second official airport serving Greater Mexico City. It operates as a focus city for Viva and Aeromexico Connect. It is also the main hub for the country’s state-owned airline, Mexicana, and accommodates services on behalf of the Mexican Air Force.
The airport is a single terminal building. The entrance is located in front of the pick up and drop off areas as shown in our map.
Once inside the terminal building, there are security checkpoint areas and a ticketing zone. Once passed this area, the Departures concourse is a 1,080 metres long hallway containing 34 boarding gates.
Gates 101-105 are located towards the south end of the concourse and feature gates that have direct access to the apron, allowing passengers to walk directly on to the plane.
Located to the north of the south gates, are Gates 106-119. These are equipped with dual jet bridges which can be used by single wide-body aircraft or the simultaneous boarding of two narrow-body aircraft.
At the north end of the Departures concourse are Gates 120-134. These gates facilitate the boarding of passengers by bus to the aircraft.
The baggage claim area includes three carousels for domestic travel and four carousels for international baggage recovery.

Restaurants at the airport include breakfast cafes with coffee, teas, pastries and light snacks. There are also casual dining and fast-food outlets that feature menus of sandwiches, hamburgers and American-style dining, as well as restaurants that offer Mexican cuisine and regional dishes.
Among the shops at the airport are bookstores, souvenirs and gift stands, retailers that offer the latest in electronics, fashion and accessories, and duty-free options including tax-free prices on goods such as perfumes, cosmetics, alcohol and tobacco.
Bus: The airport includes a Ground Transportation Terminal (TITT). This features a bus station and lobby that includes services such as shops, rest areas, and dining. Services and routes are offered to many destinations throughout Mexico City and the surrounding area.
Taxi: There are designated boarding areas for taxis regulated by the Department of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation (SICT).
Rental cars: Several rental car companies have operations at the airport. Their service counters can be found next to the taxi stands in the Arrivals Hall.
Parking: Many parking options are available at the airport. These include short-term stays, daily rates and special rates for longer duration stays. Services are also available for motorcycles, people with disabilities, and electric vehicles.
