Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS), formerly known as “Nassau International Airport” is the largest airport in the Bahamas and a major gateway into the country. It currently serves as an operating base for the country’s national flag carrier, Bahamasair, and for smaller regional carriers Pineapple Air, and Western Air.
Named after the country’s first prime minister, the airport is located on western New Providence island near the capital city of Nassau.
LPIA airport has three terminals, named Terminal A, Terminal B, and Terminal C.
Each terminal contains its own security area for passenger screening and customs.
Terminal A: Located on the southern side of the airport complex. It handles domestic and international departures and arrivals. Hosts Gates A.
Terminal B: Located in the middle of the three airport terminals. It is responsible for handling U.S. and international arrivals. Hosts Gates B.
Terminal C: The most northern located of the three terminals. It handles U.S. Departures. Hosts Gates C.

The airport has several attractive dining options for travelers at the airport. These include popular coffee shops and cafes, fast food restaurants, Asian cuisine, casual dining, dessert shoppes, and full-service restaurants.
Shops at the airport feature newsstands, souvenirs, gifts, toiletries and beauty products, cosmetics, fashion and accessories, speciality apparel, travel essentials including luggage, and duty-free shops.
The airport offers a lounge where passengers can relax. The Lignum Club Lounge offers exclusive access to premium services such as an open bar, premium drinks selections, a business centre and private meeting room area.
Other amenities at the airport include an outdoor patio which features a dining area, and children’s play area for families, located in Terminal B and C.
Taxi: Taxi services are available outside each of the three terminals.
Rental cars: Several car rental companies have operations at the airport. They can be found outside the airport, directly across from Terminal B.
Parking: The airport offers both short-term and long-term parking options for passengers. Also offered are Park ‘N Go services which allow for priority parking access to the terminal buildings.
