Luxembourg Airport (LUX) is the main airport serving Luxembourg. It is the only international airport in the country. It also serves as the head office for the national flag carrier, Luxair.

Located 6km (3.7mi) east of Luxembourg City, it is a major cargo airport. Luxembourg Airport is responsible for handling the fifth-most cargo tonnage of any airport in Europe.

The airport has two terminals. They are named, Terminal A and Terminal B.

Terminal A: This was the only terminal until Terminal B opened. It contains a security check-in area, shops and a restaurant.

Terminal B: Terminal B has gates but no check-in counters or arrivals hall. It is used only for small aircraft with capacities of up to 110 passengers.

Dining at the airport includes options for travelers conveniently located before and after security. Within Terminal A are shops that feature light dining, snacks and drinks. Terminal B meanwhile features a bar and lounge area for travelers.

Shops at the airport include press, books, travel essentials, gifts, and duty-free shopping.

There is a business lounge at the airport where guests can relax and unwind. It features premium food and drink options in addition to the latest newspapers, magazines, a business area and free Wi-Fi connections.

Find transportation from the airport: Bus, taxi, rental cars, parking

Bus: Several services run from the airport to Luxembourg city centre and the Luxembourg railway station. The bus station can be found at the pick-up, drop-off area as shown in our map at the top of this page.

Taxi: Services are available at the entrance of the airport, next to the pick-up and drop-off area.

Rental cars: Several car rental agencies have operations at the airport. Rental counters can be found at the Arrivals hall. The car park for rental cars is located in the indoor car park (Parking Indoor A) at Level -2. “Rental car” signs are located throughout the airport.

Parking: Several parking options are available at the airport. These include indoor and outdoor spaces, parking with direct terminal access, and long-term stays, with access to the airport available via shuttle bus.
