Dublin Airport is the main airport in Ireland and consists of two terminals. Learn more and see our airport map of DUB here.
Dublin Airport (DUB) is Ireland’s busiest airport by total passenger traffic and is the 13th busiest airport in Europe. The airport operates an extensive short and medium haul network in addition to a sizeable long-haul network for North America and the Middle East. It is one of only three airports in the world outside of the Americas to offer border preclearance services for U.S.-bound passengers. Located in Collinstown, 7km (4.3mi) north of Dublin, it serves as a hub for Ireland’s flag carrier Aer Lingus and is the home base for Europe’s largest low-cost carrier Ryanair.
The airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Each has its own pick up and drop off areas, the locations of which can be viewed in our map at the top of this page.
Terminal 1 is responsible for the majority of Ryanair flights and most long-haul flights to destinations outside of the United States.
Terminal 2 is responsible for the majority of Aer Lingus flights and is the transatlantic gateway for flights to the United States, featuring a U.S. preclearance immigration facility.
There are a variety of shopping and dining options at the airport, conveniently located both before and after security clearances. From cafes to restaurants, take-out options and bars, there is plenty for travelers to choose from. There is also duty-free shopping available that features top Irish and international brands in beauty, fragrance and more.
Taxis are available for hire at taxi ranks located directly outside Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Car rental services are also available in the Arrivals Hall in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, which can be located using our map at the top of this page.
Additionally, the airport is served by a large network of bus and coach routes, including more than 700 services running daily throughout Dublin and the wider Ireland region.
The airport includes free Wi-Fi services for its guests in both terminals. In addition, it has 27 drinking water stations conveniently located for travelers on both sides of security. There is a barbershop located in Terminal 1, and luggage, printing services, and multi-faith prayer rooms are available.
The airport also features a Catholic church, Our Lady Queen of Heaven, within the Dublin airport complex. The church is located approximately a one-minute walk from the Arrivals Hall through the Short-Term Car Park Atrium.
