John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), formerly known as “Port Columbus International Airport” is the main airport serving Columbus, Ohio in the United States.
Located 6mi (9.7km) east of downtown Columbus, the airport is named after John Glenn, the famous astronaut and former Senator of Ohio.
The airport consists of one main terminal building. It has three concourses.
At the front entrance to the main terminal building, inside of the pick-up and drop-off area is the pre-security area used for ticketing and baggage check.
From there, each concourse has its own security checkpoint.
Concourse A: Located to the south side of the terminal. It holds Gates A (A2-A6). Primarily used by Southwest Airlines.
Concourse B: Located centrally, directly ahead of the pre-security check-in area. It holds Gates B (B15-B28, B29-B36). Mainly used by American Airlines, Air Canada, Spirit Airlines, and United Airlines.
Concourse C: Located on the north side of the terminal. It holds Gates C (C46-C56). Used mainly by Alaska Airlines, Breeze Airways, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and Sun Country Airlines.

There are several dining options conveniently located prior to entering the security check-point area within the main terminal building. These include popular coffee shops, fast food restaurants, and several vending machines serving pre-packaged foods, drinks and snacks.
Past clearing security, there are many more dining options for travelers to choose from and explore. The airport features a wide variety of restaurants and popular chains, as well as speciality dining concepts and licensed bars and grills.
For shoppers, there are a number of retailers to visit while at the airport. These offer convenience items, travel essentials, newspapers and magazines, souvenirs, gifts, fashion apparel, mobile and electronics accessories, and more.
The airport also offers an Escape Lounge where passengers can relax and enjoy dedicated workspace areas, comfortable seating room, and premium drinks and food selections. It is located in Concourse B and stays open between 5:00am-8:00pm.
Public Transit: Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is the regional public transit provider for the greater Columbus and Central Ohio areas. It offers a bus service between the airport and downtown Columbus.
Taxi: Taxis are available on the ground transportation level, outside of the main arrivals area.
Ridesharing: Ridesharing services are available across from the arrivals area, and to the right of the exits.
Rental cars: Several car rental companies have operations at the airport. They can be found at the rental car center. It is located in front of the terminal building, behind the short-term parking garage. There is a free purple shuttle bus service that operates between the terminal and the rental car center on a 24/7 basis.
Parking: The parking garage located directly opposite of the main terminal building offers both short-term and long-term options. There is a surface parking lot located further away and to the north side of the terminal, next to Concourse C, that is within walking distance. There are also Red and Green economy lots located an even further distance away from the main terminal building. These lots have shuttle bus services running to and from the airport.
