Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD) is an international airport in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is located in the Bole district, 6km (3.7mi) southeast of the city centre. It is the main hub of Ethiopian Airlines, the nation’s flag carrier.
It is one of Africa’s busiest airports, serving destinations in Ethiopia and throughout the African continent, with connections to the North and South America, Europe and Asia. It also serves as the base for the Ethiopian Aviation Academy.
The airport has two terminals. These are named, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Terminal 1: Serves domestic and regional flights for Ethiopian Airlines, EgyptAir, Qatar Airways, Sudan Airways, and Yemenia. Terminal 1 has 4 Gates.
Terminal 2: Serves international flights and the rest of the airlines at the airport not operating from Terminal 1. Terminal 2 has 7 Gates.
There is a restaurant located in Terminal 2 offering guests international and fast-food options.
Shops at the airport include a bank and local mobile line providers. In addition, duty free shops are available at the airport in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
